The Dr. Fauci Lies Drawstring Bag
“Trust the science.” This is good advice, to an extent. At this point in history it’s reasonably safe to buy into heliocentrism and Newton's second law. But anyone who asserts that the experts have always got our best interests in mind is grievously mistaken at best.
Case in point: Dr. Anthony Fauci, celebutante bureaucrat and self-appointed personification of science. In his own words: “If you are trying to get at me as a public health official and a scientist, you're really attacking, not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you're attacking science.”
This is the man who advised against public mask use during the onset of the pandemic, explaining that masks were ineffective at preventing the spread of the COVID-19, only to backpedal and later explain that he intended his advice to preserve the coveted supply of N-95 masks.
Dr. Fauci would also explain that he lied about the percentage of the population which would require vaccination to reach herd immunity because people weren’t prepared to hear the real, actual figure. He pushed for mask mandates and lockdowns even after Texas demonstrated they achieve nothing. To this day Dr. Fauci remains insistent that the Wuhan Institute of Virology played a tangential role at best in the virus which originated in Wuhan.
“Trust the science.” But take everything the glorified “experts” say with a grain of salt, and trust Dr. Fauci just as much as you would trust an ant colony with your root beer sucker.
