Thousands of years ago, like, during the 1990s or something, before everyone had a smartphone permanently welded to their hands, there was a thing called “print.” If you wanted to share information with someone, you had to “print” it on “paper” and give it to them – or, better yet, sell it to them – so they would also be forced to look at advertisements for Caribbean cruises and senior living facilities and bleach.

You follow us? Doesn’t matter if you don’t, we’re not sure what we’re talking about either. But still, in order to print things on paper you had to use a technique known as “letterpress” in which a guy would painstakingly arrange metal letters on a raised bed so a mechanical arm could roll paper over them. Letterpress was terribly inefficient, and it had the undesirable effect of creating a permanent record that could one day contradict your latest propaganda campaign.

Fortunately everything is digital now, so if the MSM decides that Hillary Clinton invented the polio vaccine you’ll have to believe it or risk being branded a conspiracist.

But there is still a place for letterpress, and that is designing official ZeroHedge merchandise. This thing you’re looking at, right here? It’s great because it has a timeless letterpress aesthetic. That’s why it doesn’t look like it was designed on a 1986 Dell Turbo PC by a single overworked Laotian teenager, even though it was, because letterpress is timeless. And so are you. You are timeless.
