Famine. Forced labor. Mass executions. Torture! All these await in the communist utopia, where we will finally be free from the oppression of freedom. Save for a few unimpeachable elites who own everything, no one will own anything, which means we’ll finally all be equals with the obvious exception of people who are much better than us.
“Wait just a minute,” you may think to yourself like the loathsome dissenter you are. “I hate compulsory equality, and I like owning the things that I currently own. What if I don’t opt into this communist utopia?” That’s a great question! You will be summarily murdered.
“Wait just another minute,” you may think to yourself like you personally invented the idea of dissenting. “Is there a way to prevent a mob of vicious communists from treating me like some sort of storage solution for bayonets?” Another great question! You could theoretically defend your life, land and liberty with guns, which is why we’re going to confiscate them. We’ll say we’re doing it in the interest of your safety, which is a hoot considering that we would gladly grind you and every member of your family into paste that we will feed to our dogs if doing so meant we could get just one little step closer to assuming total control over your country.
What’s that? You won’t voluntarily hand over your guns? Don’t worry. We’re currently doing everything we can to force you to allow us to protect you from yourself.
